Timing and Prizes

The Thunder Dragon Marathon and Half Marathon are timed using a RaceTec timing App. It is a manual process there are no chips in the numbers. That means that everyone has the same start time, but the difference between the first and last runners across the start line is a few seconds. If you are worried about a few seconds on your official time, this is probably the wrong race for you. The results will appear on the website as soon as each runner crosses the finish line. There is no cut off time in either race. There are two sets of race prizes: for the local runners who receive prices money and international runners who receive wooden trophies and local mementos.
